WORTH ST

This $80 million project included major upgrades to distribution water mains, storm sewers, underground utilities, and tree mitigation. New steel trunk water main was installed and rehabilitation of the existing combined sewer was completed. Relocation and upgrading of multiple utilities (ConEd, Energy Curtailment Specialists, NYC Transit, and Time Warner Cable) was also completed.

Work Completed Includes:

- Installation of 48" and 36" steel trunk water main

- Existing combined sewer rehabilitation

- Utility relocation for multiple facilities

- Installation of new fiber-optic technology for system upgrades

- Extensive test pits for underground facilities with respect to the water main                   geometry

- Installation of roadways, curbs, sidewalks, street lights, and traffic signals
